“This recent body of work explores the tension between creation and dissolution, using a process of drawing, erasure, and the layering of color. Through this method, I aim to evoke a sense of place that is at once familiar and elusive—imbued with a quiet mystery that invites reflection. The ethereal layers, both tangible and obscured, reflect my desire to create a space of comfort and contemplation, where viewers may experience a fleeting sense of belonging and peace. Each layer acts as a bridge between what is revealed and what remains hidden, allowing for an ongoing dialogue between presence and absence.”
